Feature Update – Term 2, 2021

We’ve been working hard on releasing new features and updates to the Feesable Fee Calculator. Today we are excited to let you know about two important updates relating to email notifications.

Send email from a school email address

Email notifications to parents can now be sent from a custom email address. So you can use any email address such as [email protected] to send the fee results email from.

This will obviously improve the custom branding for your school, and also means that the parent can reply directly to the email to get in touch with the school and follow up on the enquiry.

You have already nominated an email address as part of your Feesable setup. Soon you will receive an email to that same address – all you need to do is click the link in this email to verify your email address. We will do the rest to get this new feature setup for you.

Conditional email notifications

The email the school receives when a new fee enquiry is submitted can now be sent conditionally. You can choose to receive email notifications based on the following conditions:

  1. Only send if the parent requests to be contacted
  2. Only send if all students are ‘New’
  3. Only send if there is at least one ‘New’ student
  4. A combination of 1 + 2 or 1 + 3 above

By default we will set your calculator to option 1 above. With this condition in place, you will no longer receive emails for all submissions.

If you are happy with this default setting, no action is required. Otherwise, please reply to this email if you wish to select one of the other options above.
